Keep the gallery welcoming
No sexual or explicit content, exploitation, graphic violence, threats, hate, harassment, encouragement of self-harm, or instructions for wrongdoing. Do not submit illegal content.
Respect privacy and ownership
Use a photo you took. Do not upload downloaded or AI-generated entries, identifiable strangers, children, license plates, private addresses, financial details, or personal documents. Your caption and profile must follow the same rules.
Play safely
Stay where you have permission to be. Indoor discoveries count. Do not use a clue as a reason to enter traffic, climb, disturb people or wildlife, or take risks.
Screening and appeals
Automated screening checks photos and captions for supported safety categories. It is not a reliable detector of every face, address, copyright violation, misleading image, or clue mismatch. A blocked photo remains private. Use Request a review in My passport to appeal. Repeated abuse may result in restrictions.
Reports
Signed-in players can flag a published discovery with a reason; it is hidden while reviewed. Do not abuse reporting to target other players. People without accounts can use the contact route. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for a game report.
